You don’t need a gym membership to get strong, fit and energized! Workout in the convenience of your home instead and reap all the benefits.. Here are our 5 tips for successful home fitness! How to get started Action precedes results, which precedes motivation! To establish a regular training routine and build strength and stamina, you just have to take action. In my own experience with clients and with myself, motivation is something that goes up and down. Therefore we cannot rely on motivation to get started, but instead focus on taking action and staying consistent. So start now. Just do it. Start slowly, and make step-by-step changes.
5 tips for successful home fitness 1. Create your space When you have a designated, inspiring space for your workouts, it helps you to remove distractions and questions each time of where in the house to workout. This feeling of being organized makes it easier to know where to go for your workouts and you can have your accessories and equipment there, so you don’t have to look for them each time. 2. Get equipment Energized Muslimah specializes in home fitness, and here is an equipment guide, of what we recommend you to have for effective fitness training initially:
More equipment as you progress, and to build more strength:
With this little equipment, you will add more challenges into your workouts, and can expect even better results in Shaa Allah, compared to only working with your body weight for example. 3. Create a plan Without clear goals and a plan, you might not know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, and your results will shine with its absence. Get clear on your goals and have a clear plan. Then you know exactly what to do and why, and you’ll consistently work towards your goals. One of the benefits with online coaching by the way is that you’ll get a personalized program based on your needs and your goals, which will make it easier and more efficient for you. 4. Schedule your workouts Make appointments with yourself, schedule your workouts (day and time) and make it happen! Take help of a sister and use her as your accountability partner if needed, share your schedule with her, and let her know when you will- and when you have worked out. 5. Reward yourself Acknowledge your own success, not only by the gained health benefits, but also with something else. Have something to look forward to and something to mark your achievements! After having achieved your monthly goal, like having done 12 workouts, reward yourself with a massage or new fitness clothes for example.
